Bonus item: Sarah seems more attractive as a candidate, now that I know she has holy protection against witchcraft! Is Barack Obama protected from witchcraft? Who knows? Just one more way the man is a dangerous unknown!!

I don't like her, and although she wasn't perfect, she held her own with a guy who has a lot more experience. He should have been able to demolish her and he didn't, she came out looking ok... that is sad on his part.
Attacking her was more dangerous than attacking the ticket's policy positions, but who won is a matter of which side of the political divide you land on. She wasn't debating, she was stumping, and Biden wasn't debating, he was attacking McCain, although he did counterpoint every major policy point she tried to make. Her big weakness is not being able to go off script. She doesn't have the knowledge or the insight, so she had to stick with her index cards.
If Biden had gone after her, everyone would have characterized him as a bully. She is a benefactor of low expectations, much like George W Bush was 8 years ago. When you expect someone to fail, and they manage to achieve mediocrity, it creates an illusion of success. Get her off the cue cards, and she's a mess.
